Office of Alumni Engagement 

We support alumni in their participation and involvement in College Unbound by fostering and building an engaged community.  Alumni services works to involve alumni as partners in learning, career advancement, recruitment, and mutual support. The office is committed to expanding lifelong learning opportunities for alumni to continue the work they began during their CU undergraduate experience. 

CU strongly believes that once you’ve become a part of the CU family, you’re always a part of the family. A College Unbound Alum is someone who has completed their bachelors degree through the program.Therefore any student who received their bachelor’s degree from a partner institution and a certificate from CU is included in our definition of alumni.  

Director of Alumni and Career Engagement: Michael Reaves

Mike Reaves, one CU’s founding alumni, has rejoined the college as Director of Alumni and Career Services. Mike has spent the past few years working in the Office of Diversity Programs at Southern New Hampshire University and will bring his expertise in relationship building to help build a strong alumni network at CU. Michael will also focus on building a career services program that prepares students for a competitive job market. Mike is excited to be back in Rhode Island and looks forward to experiencing diverse cultures and the arts.
